Return

Daylights colors are fading fast
Giving way to the dark cloak of night
The velvet mantle of Night is last
To sweep across the sky

Close behind her the stars spring bright
Dancing along the heights
They sparkle brilliance into the night
Silver, blue and crystalline white

The purple velvet of Night's thick cloak
Holds me inside its folds
I'm safe in here, and I can forget
The fear that daybreak holds.
